Propane-Sniffing Youths Concern Northern Elder

An elder in Southend says something needs to be done to help young people who are sniffing propane in the community.
Rene Jobb is a security guard, and when he drives around at night, he often sees teenagers sniffing propane.
He says they started out sniffing gasoline and then moved onto propane.
Jobb says a teenaged girl died around a month ago from sniffing propane — and he heard another girl was burned while sniffing.
He thinks the numbers of sniffers may have gone down since then, but he is still concerned.
Jobb says there have been some workshops in the community about the dangers of sniffing, but he thinks more needs to be done.
