Man Dies After Vehicle Plunges Into River

A 37-year-old man was killed when a vehicle went off the road and into a river on the Red Earth First Nation over the weekend.

The accident took place early Saturday morning, and caused some damage to the bridge at the scene of the crash.

The RCMP say the other five occupants were initially trapped in the vehicle, but eventually got free.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
