The Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan is stepping in to help Saskatoon’s inner city.
Today at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge, the company announced it was creating an endowment fund for the lodge’s legal service.
Dubbed “Classic”, the legal service helps people in core neighbourhoods deal with a variety of legal challenges.
Since it was launched three years ago, the service has jumped from 25 clients to 300.
A spokesman for PCS says the company is calling on the legal community to donate funds to the legal service.
The corporation will then match those funds up to a maximum of $100,000.
The campaign runs until November 30th.
