New Aboriginal Resource Officer for PA

The Prince Albert Police Service has a new Aboriginal resource officer.

Jennifer Baldhead replaces Julie Pitzel who retired last year.

A member of the Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation, Baldhead worked in corrections before coming to the service.

She says she’s still learning the ropes but her office door is open to everyone.

She adds her main goal is to assist victims and act as a bridge between the Aboriginal community and police.
