Ahtahkakoop Man Accused Of Attacking Police

Police in Prince Albert have arrested a 23-year-old man from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation after a wild foot chase.

Police say, on Friday, officers went to arrest a man who had several outstanding Criminal Code warrants.

The chase led them through an apartment building where a small child was knocked over.

Officers eventually caught up to the suspect, who is now in custody.

Roland Sasakamoose faces multiple charges, including two counts of assaulting a police officer.
