Cell Service Now Available In Stanley Mission

People in Stanley Mission can start using their cell phones.

Sasktel switched on the service yesterday.

The ends a long effort by the community to get the service for the area.

Gord Hardlotte is the director of operations for Stanley Mission.

Hardlotte says it will help boost the community’s emerging tourism business — noting that when visitors arrive, the first thing they ask is if there is cell service.

He adds it will also help make the area safer for everyone.
