Impaired Driving Charge Facing Chief Back In Court

The chief of the Fond du Lac First Nation was to appear on impaired driving charges today in a Regina court.

Napoleon Mercredi was not present, but was represented by a lawyer.

Mercredi is charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired and refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.

His next court date is set for July 29th in Regina.
