A large forest fire is now with ten kilometres of the community of Black Lake.
Fire officials say the fire is over three hundred thousand hectares in size and officials estimate residents will continue to see smoke over the weekend.
Stony Rapids mayor Sandra Hansen says they’re coping as best they can.
She reminds residents to keep their doors and windows closed at all times.
Meanwhile a total of 155 evacuees remain in Prince Albert.
On the plus side an official with the Prince Albert Grand Council says the air is fairly clear at Fond du Lac, a community which is also watching the fire.
Officials say they are expecting some scattered showers over the weekend and the wind is expected to change as well.
