A community devastated by a natural disaster is finding a way to heal.
Kawacatoose First Nation is holding a powwow this weekend.
The community was hit by a F3 tornado on July 2, 2010.
Caroline Poorman is with the powwow committee.
She says they considered cancelling the powwow but the Elders advised them to carry on.
The powwow will wrap up on Sunday with a feast to honour the survivors of the tornado.
