Students studying the trades at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies have a new place to learn.
Today the school officially opened its new, larger trades centre.
Guy Poncelet is Dean of Trades and Industrial at SIIT.
He says there is a huge demand for tradespeople, and that the school gets calls all the time from industry looking for more workers.
Today the school also celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Construction Careers program.
More than 3,600 students have gone through the program and onto employment.
