RCMP Release Suspected Cause Of Fatal Fire

The RCMP say the cause of the fatal house fire in Air Ronge over the weekend has been determined to be electrical in nature.

The fire claimed the life of a 54-year-old Air Ronge man.

The blaze broke out shortly after midnight Sunday morning in a residence on Beaver Street.

Fire crews were able to pull the man out of the burning structure, but he was later pronounced dead in hospital.

The identity of the victim is not being released at the request of the family.
