Death Of English River Man Considered A Homicide

Saskatoon police say the discovery of the body of a man last week is now considered a homicide.

Last Thursday, police were called to investigate an assault at a home in the 600 block of Avenue M South.

They found the body of 23-year-old Anthony Gunn of the English River First Nation.

An autopsy was conducted and the case was upgraded to a homicide investigation yesterday.

Investigators say they are interviewing a number of witnesses in the case.
