Preliminary hearing dates have been set for three Mosquito First Nation men accused of Treaty Land Entitlement fraud.
Hearings for Chief Clarence Stone, Clifford Spyglass, and Gerald Bird will take place May 30th to June 10th in North Battleford Provincial Court.
Those preliminary hearing dates were set yesterday.
The charges relate to activities alleged to have taken place in 2002 — but they were laid this past January.
Earlier, Alphonse Peter Moosomin and Eldon Edward Starchief pleaded guilty to one charge — using money for purposes other than buying land.
They will be sentenced in October.
The Crown says the other two charges — stealing more than $5,000 and fraud over $5,000 — will be withdrawn when they are sentenced.
