The woman accused of attacking another woman with a hatchet in northern Saskatchewan earlier this year will go to trial later this fall.
The preliminary hearing for 29-year-old Jennifer Walker was held yesterday in La Ronge.
Walker was arrested in January after a 911 call from a home at Sucker River.
RCMP say a 41-year-old woman had been struck with a hatchet and received non-life threatening injuries.
Walker’s trial on a charge of aggravated assault will begin November 2nd at Court of Queen’s Bench in Prince Albert.
