RCMP continue to try and crack the case of a violent home invasion near the Sturgeon Lake reserve one year ago.
On November 10th, 2009, an elderly person was assaulted and tied up about a mile south of the First Nation.
A wallet was taken along with some identification.
Both of the male suspects are estimated to be 5’8″ tall and of Aboriginal ancestry.
One was wearing a bunny hug while the other had a scruffy-looking face and a dark coloured jacket.
The victim was shaken up, but otherwise OK.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call RCMP in Shellbrook or Crime Stoppers.
