Treaty Gathering Ends

The Treaties 1 to 11 Gathering is coming to a close today in Regina.

Robert George of Ochapowace is the co-chair and says they’ve made some important resolutions regarding issues like safe drinking water.

George says the waste from Regina and Moose Jaw filters through the lake system and eight First Nations.

George says the gathering is a movement, funded by the people and independent of government or aboriginal organizations.
