PAGC Fall Assembly Underway

An election for vice-chief highlights this year’s fall assembly at the Prince Albert Grand Council.

Chiefs from the 12 First Nations within the PAGC are meeting today and tomorrow to discuss a variety of issues.

Incumbent Ed Henderson will square off against four opponents tomorrow.

Brian Hardlotte, Donald Morin, Jonas Sanderson and Howard Halkett are all challenging him for his seat.

The winner will serve a three-year term in office.
