A former chief of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band has been inducted into the senate of the Prince Albert Grand Council.
Harry Cook says he is excited to be given the opportunity, adding he has always had an interest in enhancing the lives of First Nations people.
Cook says his experience in government and development should serve him well on the PAGC Senate.
He was chief of his band from 1985 to 2005, and also sat on Cameco Corporation’s board of directors.
