Green Lake Elder Celebrating 100th Birthday

A celebration is taking place in Green Lake today for an elder who is turning 100 years of age.

Matilda Sinclair has lived in the community all her life and still lives in her own home.

Marlene Bear is one of Sinclair’s traditional granddaughters.

Bear says over 250 family members are heading to Green Lake for the big day.

She adds as far as she knows, Sinclair has never smoked or consumed alcohol in her life.
