Man Killed In Highway Rollover Near Beauval

A single vehicle rollover east of Beauval has claimed a man’s life.

RCMP say it was around 6:45 this morning when they received a call about the crash.

Sgt. Paul Dawson says two people were riding in a truck when they went off the road into a ditch.

Dawson says the vehicle was found overturned and partially submerged in water.

He says one of the occupants has been taken to hospital with undetermined injuries while the other occupant, a man, was declared dead at the scene.

Highway 165 between Beauval and Pinehouse was closed for several hours today, but has since been re-opened.
