Some students from Cumberland House will be on the big screen tonight as the film, “The Pisim Project”, is premiered in their home community.
For a couple of years, a group of high school students, in conjunction with the University of Saskatchewan, built an energy-efficient home.
Their hard work was filmed and turned into a movie.
Filmmaker Marcel Petit hopes people are entertained by the film, but also come away with a message that “it is so easy to work together and get everything done” — and that a community can do anything it wants if community members put their minds to it.
“The Pisim Project” will also be shown next week in Saskatoon, North Battleford and Regina.
