Former NDP Campaign Worker Facing Fraud Charges

A former NDP campaign worker from the North will stand trial on fraud charges.

Ernest Morin is being committed to stand trial at the Court of Queen’s Bench in Regina.

Morin is charged with committing forgery, uttering a forged document and attempting to utter a forged document.

The RCMP laid charges earlier this year after a June 2009 investigation led to the questionable sale of eleven hundred provincial NDP memberships.

No trial date has been set.
