Metis Nation of Alberta President Honoured

The president of the Metis Nation of Alberta is being recognized with a special honour.
Audrey Poitras has been named as a winner of the National Aboriginal Achievement Award.
She and other recipients were acknowledged in the House of Commons today.
She has been involved within Metis Politics for the last 15 years.
