La Ronge Man Dead Following House Fire

A man is dead following a fatal house fire in the La Ronge-area last night.

The RCMP say it took place on Reserve 101.

La Ronge fire chief Ron Pratt says the home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived shortly before 7:00 p.m.

Pratt say human remains were found inside the structure after the fire was put out — and now, investigators will be trying to determine if there was more than one victim.

The victim has been identified as a 32-year-old local man. No name has been released.
