Despite a cut in funding, the manager of an organic farm on the Muskoday reserve says they’ll continue planting potatoes.

Harvey Knight says the reserve’s farm has gone from planting 10 acres a year down to five.

He explains the organic farm initially took 12 people off welfare, and taught the workers the skills of planting and weeding a farm.

Knight says they have established markets in Saskatoon and plan to continue planting on a smaller scale.
