New MLTC Vice-Chief

A new Vice-Chief has been elected for the Meadow Lake Tribal Council.
The by-election was held today to fill the vacancy left when former Vice-Chief Eric Sylvestre was elected to the position of Tribal Chief.
Dwayne Lasas was chosen by the delegates over Richard Fiddler.
The unofficial results have Lasas receiving 28 of the 49 votes.
His term in office runs until November 2013.
