RCMP Search for Man Culprit in Deadly Hit-and-Run

RCMP are trying to find the culprit responsible for an apparent hit-and-run on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation over the weekend.

A 49-year-old man was discovered deceased on Sunday morning and authorities believe he was hit by a vehicle.

Several pieces of black plastic were discovered at the scene.

Corporal Mel Zurevinsky is one of the officers working the case.

He says the material could possibly have come from a bumper.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crimestoppers or the RCMP.

The name of the deceased man is not being released at the request of the family.
