A 43-year-old man has been charged in the stand-off and hit-and-run, which happened in Prince Albert earlier this week.

Police say the charges against Leslie Samoleski of Prince Albert include impaired driving, criminal negligence causing death, and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

He also faces a number of firearms charges.

Samoleski was arrested around noon Tuesday after a 15-hour standoff with police at a home on the city’s south side.

He is charged in the death of 14-year-old Montana Netmaker who was killed by vehicle while riding a bicycle, Monday evening.
