Fire Claims One at Whitebear

A house fire on the Whitebear First Nation has claimed a life.

Around 10:30 last night emergency crews responded to a residence on reserve full engulfed in flames.

Most of the structure was consumed by the fire.

At the end of it all, workers discovered a body inside the residence.

A fire examiner is presently on scene and members of the Yorkton forensic team have also been called into help.
