Kidnapping Suspect Denied Bail

A Pelican Lake kidnapping and sexual assault suspect has been denied bail.

A bail hearing for 47-year-old Francis Hernandez was held today in North Battleford Provincial Court.

He’s remanded in custody, pending his next court appearance May 6th.

At Hernandez’s request, the approximately three-hour hearing was held entirely in French.
