Pelican Narrows Woman Wins Big

Life has taken a big turn for a woman in Pelican Narrows.

Saskatchewan Lotteries has announced that local resident Shirley Bloomfield has won $1 million.

Bloomfield bought the winning ticket at the northern store on Friday.

She says it took her a few minutes to truly understand what she’d won.

She says she wants to buy her husband a new truck, fix up her house and take her kids on a trip to Edmonton.

They’re also thinking about starting a business.
