Documentary on Metis Leader Premieres Tonight

A first-of-its-kind documentary on a northern Saskatchewan Metis leader will premiere tonight on APTN.
“Jim Brady: In the Footsteps of the Metis Leader” is a one-hour documentary produced by MBC-TV.
It’s the first time a documentary on Brady has ever been produced.
Brady is credited with helping organize Metis political movements in Alberta and northern Saskatchewan from the 1930s to the 1960s.
His disappearance in 1967 while on a prospecting trip with a friend was the focus of an RCMP search — but the two were never heard from again.
Historians note that the common belief among northerners is that they met with foul play because of their politics.
The program will make its debut tonight at 9:00 Saskatchewan, and will re-air tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
