Woman Charged in Pheasant Rump House Fire

A 23-year-old woman has been charged with arson, following a house fire on the Pheasant Rump First Nation last night.

RCMP and the fire department were called to a house fire around 9:20.

Initial reports indicated one person may have been unable to escape but investigators confirmed that everyone in the home made it out safely and with no injuries.

The home was completely destroyed.

Seana Laine Manyfingers was arrested and will appear in Estevan Provincial Court tomorrow morning.
