NAHC Showcase of Talent, Inspiration

One of the hosts of this year’s National Aboriginal Hockey Championships says this week’s event is a chance to showcase some of the best hockey talent around the world.

Saskatoon Tribal Council Chief Felix Thomas says people see Saskatoon, the province and even the country as a hot bed for hockey, and he says the same holds true in Aboriginal communities.

Thomas says events like this can inspire children from all walks of life that they can accomplish anything with hard work.

The men’s quarter finals take place today and the women wrap up regular play.
