Saulteaux Band Members Set To Elect New Chief

The Saulteaux First Nation is about to undergo a change at the top.

Kenny Moccasin, the band’s chief for the past few years, is not running again in this Saturday’s election.

Five people are after that job — Sharalyn O’Soup, Tara Wheeler Moccasin, Velma Night, Sarah Gopher, and Robert Camplin.

A total of 19 people are running for the five positions on council.
