OLCN Man Faces Charges After High-Speed Chase

An Onion Lake Cree Nation youth will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court tomorrow after a high speed chase near Lloydminster.

The suspect faces 10 charges in connection with a stolen truck.

The chase began just after midnight Wednesday near Maidstone.

RCMP spokesman Corporal Rob King says speeds got so high the RCMP officer withdrew from the chase.

Initially, police thought the suspect was involved in a stabbing in North Battleford, but now they say he wasn’t involved.
