Teen Escapee Arrested

A 17 year-old boy from the north has been picked up after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Last week police in Regina took the unusual step of releasing the boy’s name, even though he was under age.

The department said it did so because the teen used violence to escape a youth centre in the city.

Police in Prince Albert arrested the youth without incident on Saturday and he’s now in custody.
