Credit Unions in Saskatchewan are donating $25,000 to help Aboriginal students at SIAST.

The money will go towards the school’s achievement plan for First Nations and Metis students.

The plan is aimed at addressing barriers faced by Aboriginal students through better support services and a summer transition program.

Credit union spokeswoman Pam Skotnitsky says they want to help students realize their goals and dreams.

And, they believe this program can do just that.
