First Nations University Chooses New Leader

The First Nations University of Canada has hired a new president.

 

Dr. Doyle Anderson was selected for the job after a lengthy selection process.

 

He replaces Dr. Shauneen Pete, who had been serving on an interim basis.

 

Anderson currently serves as director of the Native American Business Administration Program at Idaho State University.

 

He will assume his duties on August 2nd.

 

Anderon is a member of the Red Pheasant First Nation.
