Advance Polls Open on Wahpeton

Advance polling takes place this afternoon for members of Wahpeton Dakota Nation.

The two candidates running for Chief are Dr. Leo Omani and incumbent Cy Standing.

Eleven people are in the running for four council positions.

Voting in Saskatoon will be held on Thursday and the main Wahpeton Dakota Nation polling is on Friday.

The winners will serve a three-year term.
