Equipment Dollars Arrive For Health Region

The provincial government is giving the Keewatin Yatthe Health Region some money to buy medical equipment with.

 

Health region C.E.O. Richard Petit explains they plan to use eighty thousand dollars to replace aging medical equipment.

 

Another thirty thousand will be used on building maintenance and upgrading life-safety systems.

 

He says the final approval for the move could come as early as Thursday.

 

 

Petit adds some of the equipment they hope to buy include x-ray scanners and other lab equipment.
