Prince Albert Police Identify Body

The Prince Albert police service has released the name of a teenager who died last week in the city.

The service says 13 year-old Wayne Ballantyne was the person who was found deceased in a car early Saturday morning.

Officers were patrolling the neighborhood when they came across a flaming car in a driveway.

When fire-crews arrived to tackle the blaze, officers saw what appeared to be a body inside the vehicle.

An autopsy has been performed but the results aren’t known yet.

Police are treating the death as suspicious.
