Recycling and rethinking the way we treat our planet is the subject of a workshop today on the Little Pine First Nation.

Researchers from the University of Saskatchewan and some environmental groups are at Chief Little Pine School today.

Ozone depletion, water quality and climate change are just some of the issues up for discussion.

Organizer Celine Pewapisconias says she is tired of seeing people toss away unwanted items like stoves, fridges or televisions that can be recycled.

Today’s event includes a talk on where our food supply comes from and how it affects the earth.
