The 2011 Peace and Dignity run is kicking off in Prince Albert today.
Dozens of runners from throughout central and northern Saskatchewan are on hand for the event, as well as several others from different countries.
The run is intended to promote unity among people of all races and nationalities.
Marco is a First Nations drummer from Mexico.
He says the event has received solid support so far, and he’s hoping it continues.
The runners are heading to Saskatoon today and hope to be in Brandon within a week’s time.
