Bodies of Men Who Died in Boat Accident Found

RCMP say the bodies of two men who died in a boating accident near Denare Beach have now been recovered.

The incident at Amisk Lake was reported shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.

Police say five men were in the boat which hit a reef and two men fell overboard.

The body of a 65-year-old man was located a short time later.

After two days of searching, an RCMP dive team also recovered the body of a 48-year-old man near the scene of the collision.

The three other men where not injured.

No names have been released, and investigators say it appears life jackets were not being used by the boaters.
