A Saskatchewan cabinet minister says increased housing and more ways of owning their own home are on the wishlist of some northerners.
June Draude met with residents of Buffalo Narrows in the community on Tuesday.
She says the meeting was a good chance for citizens to tell her their concerns when it comes to housing in the north.
Draude says many residents are anxious to own their own place and want to hear ways they can do that.
She adds overcrowding was another concern many people laid out, along with a desire for agencies to work more closely together.
However, Draude says no one brought up the issue of rent control.
